New kids clothing line

After a summer of festivals and open studios we at Fair Enough Stuff are now holed up in the studio huddled round a heater, working on the new kids clothing line, Madame and the Monster. Running up to Christmas we'll be re-shooting our website and adding new lines so keep checking back to see what's new.

Fair Enough Stuff and Turncoat Annie in the Great North Run

Hannah from Fair Enough Stuff and Sarah from Turncoat Annie, are running the Great North Run on September the 19th. It's a scary prospect being as neither of them have run further than 10k before but it'll be a fab challenge and a lovely way to see a bit of Newcastle! Hannah is running for the development charity CAFOD. Here's a bit more information about them:

CAFOD's works in over 40 countries across the world including the West Bank and Gaza where they work with local organisations to provide emergency relief, counselling and legal services to people whose homes are being threatened. Sudan where they work on projects that tackle the spread of HIV, provide clean water and education. Sierra Leone and Liberia where, following civil war, 80% of people live below the poverty line and have a life expectancy of just 34 years old, where they support local partners who focus on post-conflict rehabilitation in particularly for young people.

In every £1 donated 76p goes directly to support the projects, 12p is used for education and campaigning to tackle the causes of global poverty, 11p is invested to generate a future income and 1p is used for administration costs.

Here's the Fair Enough Stuff Blog

Hello! Welcome to the Fair Enough Stuff blog. Fair Enough Stuff is a design driven, ethical clothing company based in London. We have an online store, www.fairenoughstuff.co.uk and also sell at fairs, markets and festivals around London and the South East. We currently have a range of basics and are in the process of designing a new range of clothing including a kids range called Madame and the Monster.

Last year Fair Enough Stuff won funding from ACE, a 12 month project set up in the Walworth area of South London to fund social entrepreneurs. We also took part in the Spacemakers project in Brixton to fill empty shops in Granville Arcade which is part of the Brixton Village market. We had a pop up shop in the market for three months along with another social enterprise, Turncoat Annie, a furniture upcycler, www.turncoatannie.co.uk. In April this year Fair Enough Stuff moved into a new office near Waterloo, London and was also shortlisted for the Enterprise UK - Make Your Mark in Markets competition. Over the summer we'll be trading at markets, fairs and festivals across London and the South East and will put up a calendar as soon as we have all our confirmed dates.

So there's a bit of background on Fair Enough Stuff. We'll be updating the blog with our bits of news, ponderings, offers and info on our new range of clothing.

Lots of love,

Fair Enough Stuff
